Public liability insurance
A professional entertainer should carry public liability insurance to cover their work at your event. Picco is fully insured, so you can relax knowing it's all properly covered.
Working With Children Check
In Victoria, anyone working with children should hold a valid Working With Children Check (WWCC). Picco holds a current WWCC and can provide it on request when booking — a basic but essential standard every parent should confirm before booking any entertainer.
Skin-safe face paints
Face paint goes straight onto little faces, so the products matter. Picco uses professional-grade, hypoallergenic, water-based face paints that are safe for children from age two upward and easy to remove at bath time. Read more in our full guide on whether face painting is safe for kids.
Friendly, non-scary clowns
Not every child warms to a clown immediately — so Picco's whole approach is warm, gentle and non-scary, easing kids in rather than overwhelming them. The aim is smiles, not startles. If you have a particularly shy or anxious child, mention it when booking and Picco will adjust the approach on the day.
